LEGAL TERMS

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the FrameExtract web application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FrameExtract.com (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our website.

2. Client-Side Execution & User Responsibility

All video processing, decoding, and file conversions occur exclusively within your own browser and local computing hardware. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you possess the legal rights, permissions, and copyright authorizations for any video files you process.
  • Ensuring your local hardware and browser meet the minimum memory and GPU requirements for processing high-resolution media.

3. Intellectual Property

FrameExtract claims zero ownership over any videos, audio tracks, subtitles, or image frames processed through the tool. All input and output media belong strictly to you or their respective copyright holders.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. While FrameExtract utilizes memory-safe streaming pipelines and hardware-accelerated APIs, we do not warrant that video processing will be error-free or uninterrupted across all hardware configurations.

5. Open-Source Licenses

FrameExtract integrates various open-source libraries under permissive licenses, including BSD, MIT, and LGPL (e.g. mp4box.js, fflate, ffmpeg.wasm). All component licenses remain with their respective authors.
